My interest in photography began in my teens, when I first held a Canon FTB. Now in my 50`s I've owned many Canon cameras right into the digital age. I've always enjoyed photography as a personal experience, until recently, when I thought that I might share my days behind the camera.

I am very fortunate to live in arguably one of the most beautiful places in Alaska. Its rugged remoteness promotes its own subjects to photograph. However, the streets, trails, and waterways of Southeast Alaska have been traveled by many a photographer, and to find your own vision of the surroundings is as much a challenge as understanding your equipment. I would consider myself a landscape/nature /wildlife photographer.

I've only started to promote some of my photographs in the past couple of years, displaying some in local galleries in Sitka. Along with prints I will be offering cards and calendars through this web page.
